I have trained in many & varied fields of art including painting, printmaking, life drawing, photography, graphics, illustration & textiles. I have a BA Hons. Fine Art, Painting.

My latest work has seen an emergence from the lighter colors, where many pieces included white picture planes or grounds, to even simpler, loosely anatomical, semi-abstract forms to tie in with the human condition.

I've been working in greens, reds, greys, ochres & blues. I see painting very much as an extension of drawing, and term it; "drawing with my brush" and drawing as the foundation for all art.

You may find abstract & semi abstract elements of the landscape in my work, such as boats, islands, thunderstorms, mountain scenes, hot summer days, moonlit nights, seascapes, memories & evocative scents from childhood
